Chess3 Update; Progress and Prospects Ahead
Published on Sep 15, 2023
Intro
First and foremost, I wanna say a huge thank you to our dedicated community for standing by us as we navigate the exciting journey of Chess3. We’re genuinely grateful for your support, trust, and feedback, which have been instrumental in our progress.
Welcome to our latest update where we hope to share some of the strides we’ve made and what the future may hold for our platform.
Progress so Far
We’ve recently launched a centralised hub for Chess3. The platform is designed as a clear source of information, where visitors can sign up for early access, engage with our active communities and stay up to date on all Chess3 related news. In the realm of technical progress, we’re diligently developing new smart contracts aimed at ensuring compatibility with multiple chains. Skale is our initial choice for the first mainnet release, and we’re actively collaborating with their team to align our visions.
On another front, we’ve entered partnership discussions with several prominent companies. Our conversations revolve around the possibility of Chess3’s inclusion on well-known platforms and the prospective organisation of tournaments.
Future Planning
Looking ahead, our team is on track with a timeline of 3–6 months for the rollout of our initial MVP. We prioritise our community and early backers, therefore, current members and early access registrants will be given the first opportunity to delve into its features. There’s still time to get involved though, jump into our socials and join the conversation!
In addition, we’re gearing up for our inaugural Chess3 eSports tournament. Concurrently, there’s excitement around our brainstorming sessions for a community growth program, with the possibility of introducing Chess3 skins to elevate the gaming experience.
These skins will more or less be tradeable and players will be able to wager skins against each other in matches for the first time ever. That’s right, your digital assets will play more than a cosmetic part in your Chess3 experience (so make sure you take your collecting seriously).
Conclusion
All in all, we’re on a pretty promising path with Chess3, one we know will contribute meaningfully to the chess and web3 community. The whole eSports community too tbh. We appreciate your involvement and invite those interested to enlist for early access (you should be interested, we’re gonna be releasing free stuff soon).
Thank you for being a part of this endeavour, and we look forward to sharing more updates soon!
